Suz & Archie Cape – 03/09/1961 to 26/05/15

Suz Cape was taken from us so suddenly that everyone who knew her couldnt take it in, and although the months have passed by her family and close friends are still trying to come to terms with her sudden passing.

Suz and Archie her Cairn shared a Facebook page together, and every day there would be some quip or photo from Archie that would make you smile.

I had never met Suz or Archie, but I felt as though I knew both of them. Together with her husband Tom, and Archie she had planned a week away to coincide with the Lewknor Fun Day on the 27th June, where a lot of the Friends of the CTRF were hoping to meet her, but it wasnt to be.

She was a staunch supporter of the CTRF and followed our Rescue Face Book page and our website.

She was a very talented lady, making the most beautiful cushions, plaques etc. under the name of Crafty Cairn, some of them can be seen in the photos, and she also donated to our charity with every sale she made. Her mum knitted dog coats for us to sell in our Ebay shop too, some of you have purchased these. By the way (Olive) is going to continue knitting dog coats for us, so watch out for them on our ebay shop in the autumn/winter.

Every single day Suz shared the homeless dogs in need of adoption, all the lost dogs too together with any Cairns that were looking for a forever home.

We have lost a very dear Friend who was a lovely lady and who will be sadly missed by her family, friends, Facebook friends and by the CTRF.

Not surprisingly there was an out pouring of emotion on the death of Suz, and as a result her Face Book Friends spontaneously started a collection in her memory. Some of the money donated was put towards a floral tribute for her, the remainder was donated to the Cairn Terrier Relief Fund.. and a total of 1,761.84 was raised. I think this shows just how much she was loved and thought of..she had touched everyones heart.

With sincere condolences from Chris and the CTRF Team.
