Our New Homes 2022

Here are some of the Cairn Terriers re-homed in 2022.

Here is where we will showcase some of the Cairn Terriers re-homed in 2022. We wish them all the best of luck for their futures in their forever homes.

Archie

Five year old Archie, who came into CTRF, has gone to his new home in Inverness on the usual month’s trial basis.

His new mum and dad say that after only 48 hours from arrival he’s already ruling the roost. We wondered why it had taken that long.

Archie has already taken his dad on several walks, claimed every chair in the house and likes to share a word or two with any animal that appears on TV.

We will post an update on Archie’s progress later.

Good luck Archie Cairn.

Charlie

Charlie’s owner passed away but none of the family wanted him so he was taken to the vets to be put to sleep. Fortunately for Charlie one of the nurses at the practice offered to find him a new home.

She contacted the CTRF who arranged to meet up with her and Charlie yesterday. He is 11 years old and is a lovely old gent who just wants a nice quiet and loving home. He’s not in the best of health at present as he hasn’t been looked after very well.

Luck was on Charlie’s side, and the CTRF had the ideal retired couple on their waiting list, who were contacted and jumped at the chance of having him.

He is now settling into his new home and will get all of the care and love that he so needs.

Cadi

Update on Cadi (31st January 2022):

Cadi is our first rescue Cairn of 2022. She has settled nicely into her new home:

Good morning/afternoon/evening. Cadi Cairn reporting back, as promised about 3 weeks ago.
I’m pleased to report that I have been made very welcome in my new location.
I have therefore decided to move from dinner, bed and breakfast to permanent resident.
The staff have attended to my every need, are considerate and extremely friendly.

Site rep complete, over and out.”

Thank you for updating us Cadi and we hope that you and your new family will continue to be happy and healthy.

(13th January 2022):

Cadi has recently been rehomed – here is what she has to say:

“I may only be small but I’m perfectly formed and it has been said that I am an absolute little poppet. However, I did need a new home and the Cairn Rescue seem to do a half reasonable job so a call was made to them and now I’m putting them to the test to see if they live up to their reputation.
Watch this space – I’ll be reporting back.
Cadi Cairn.”

We hope that you like your new home Cadi, and that your new family like you too.
