Dave and Dougal Walk the Wall (14th July 2016)

We have received news that CTRF member and supporter Dave Morgan and his Cairn Terrier Dougal will be undertaking a sponsored walk of Hadrians Wall to raise money for CTRF in memory of Mr Rusty and Bobby, both CTRF Rescue Cairns. Dave is 72 years old and now in training with Dougal. We wish him all the best, what a challenge!.

Through CTRF we had fifteen brilliant years with Mr Rusty andeleven fantastic years with Bobby both of whom we lost in 2014.What better way to celebrate their fabulous friendship than to undertake their favouritepass-time offell walking with our latest Cairn Terrier Dougal (whilst not a CTRF dog he needed to be re-homed at 10 months old) and raise funds for the charity thatintroduced them to us. So Dougal and myself will walk the 84 miles of the Hadrian’s Wall Path over ten days from 15th September and we would ask all Cairn Terrier lovers in particular, and all dog lovers in general to not only donate as much as you can but also to sign up to the ‘Gift Aid’ in order that a further 2.35 per 10 can be claimed back from the Inland Revenue. Thanks for giving, Dave & Dougal
