Any members live in or near the greater Manchester area. Please check out Tameside Huskies Facebook page. We have a very large totally secure enclosed field and extensive enclosed woodland for dogs to be let off lead in complete safety knowing it’s totally inescapable.
There are videos and lots of photos on our page showing you what it’s like. If it’s husky proof it will be terrier proof.
There is a charge to rent the field £15 for one hour for upto 8 dogs . But if there is a large group who wish to utilise it I’m sure we can arrange a special deal for you as the dogs are much smaller than our Huskies (56kg+) ... See MoreSee Less

Update 15th July - Bobby
""We can’t believe that Bobby has been with us a year today and what a year it’s been. He is such a gorgeous little boy and we love him to bits.
He loves his walks and every one is an adventure. He turns into a predator on alert for squirrels, foxes and birds and loves to meet up with all his doggy friends (and owners with treats). This is wonderful to see as he was very anxious around most other dogs during the early days.
In the home Bobby becomes such a very loving, sensitive boy who likes nothing more than snuggling up next to us. But he also takes very seriously his job of monitoring any potential visitors and surveillance of anything that comes through the letterbox. Our newspaper is a regular casualty and most of our post has Bobby’s mark on it including a CD with a hole in it and a personalised iPad protector case with additional personalisation by Bobby.
We have had a few breaks with Bobby in Kent, Ambleside and Northumbria which he has loved and we have driven out to the beach in Crosby several times where he particularly enjoys leaving his scent on the statues on the beach. He has also been to London several times to visit our daughters and is like a seasoned traveller on the trains, tubes and buses which he has just taken in his stride.
Our eldest daughter got a Cairn puppy in November and we were a little concerned as to how they would be but Evie has been to stay a few times now and they are very good together which has been wonderful to see.
I cannot thank John Francis, Cairn Terrier Rescue and Bobby’s previous owners enough for letting Bobby join our family and I tell him every day that he is the best phone call I ever made. ... See MoreSee Less
