There is a new button on our home page – it is for Amazon Smile and looks like this:
Amazon Smile is part of Amazon’s charitable giving activity, where it donates a small percentage (0.5%) of each eligible purchase made to the buyer’s selected charity.
If you wish to help CTRF in this way, here are the instructions:
1. Visit smile.amazon.co.uk.
2. Sign in with your usual Amazon account credentials
3. Choose a charitable organization to receive donations, or search for the charity of your choice
4. Select your charity
5. Start shopping!
Your choice of charity will be saved so you will have no need choose it each time.
This does not work on the amazon.co.uk – you have to go to smile.amazon.co.uk.
Every item available for purchase on amazon com is also available on Amazon Smile at the same price. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for Amazon Smile donation” on their product detail pages.
For anyone who accesses their Amazon account via a bookmark or favourite, it might help to delete that and replace it with smile.amazon.co.uk.
